The Latest Bass Reports for September 2003

Last Update 9-30-03

Sept. 20, 2003 Doug Burkes ~ Motor Sports racing team

Doug and his buddies managed to catch the Eastwind in between Bass and Giant Tuna fishing season.  The weather was warm, and the water was calm, surprisingly the day after  tropical storm Isabel.  They landed some real nice Big fish!  (pic1)

Sept. 8, 2003 Louis Mastrangello~ Alive & Kicking Lobsters -Cambridge, MA

Louis and his friends enjoyed a day on the water, and not in the lobster/fish market or office. But the late arrival and start hurt the chances of catching a lot of big fish.  All had a great day on the water, and managed to get a couple of nice ones.  (pic1)

Sept. 7, 2003 David Galehouse

The big seas settled down enough to get into Capt. Mikes favorite spots.  The Big fish are here!  (pic1)  (picGrp)

Sept. 6, 2003 Dan White

Dan and his college buddies, first time out on the Eastwind, had Hot action and really big fish!  All Bass caught where over 25 pounds.   (pic1)  (pic2)  (picGrp)

Sept. 6, 2003 Steve Perroni - Hamel & McAlister Engineering

The surf was up from tropical storm Fabian.  The big fish have arrived.  A 36 pounder caught this morning.   (pic1)  (pic2)

Sept. 5, 2003 Bill Regan

The seas calmed down a little this afternoon, and the bite was still on.  They had a lot of action, and caught their limit.   (picGrp)

Sept. 5, 2003 Brian Sweetman

This trip is what fall fishing is all about! A lot of Bass where caught, 1 was 40 pounds, and four fish where over 30 pounds.  All did a great job fishing in spite of the morning fog, and  big surf.   (picGrp)    (pic1)

Sept. 02, 2003 Steve and Lisa Maslar

Husband and wife team have fished on the Eastwind for a few years now when they vacation on the Cape.  Usually they have good luck, but, this time out the NE wind gave the fish lock jaw.  The managed to catch a Bass and a lot of Blues.
