Three generations of Toabes'.  The top water action that these guys crave wasn't happening.  the fish where feeding on sand eels.  and weren't interested in the popping plugs.  So we switched over to the jigs and caught some nice fish.   (pic1)  (pic2(pic3)  (pic4)

Doctor Garrity came out with his friends and found that they caught some of the biggest fish caught this season.  This is the time of year that you can catch some trophy size Bass.   (pic1)  (pic2)

These guys lucked out in getting a morning trip that wasn't already booked.  A strong east wind up against an easterly tide, Mikes favorite weather conditions.  put the fish into the rips fro some great top water action in the rips, with light spinning rod action.

June 16,2003 Jim Toabe

Jims guest, John, had a great day with a lot of action and caught a lot of fish.  The top water action this year hasn't been the usual as it has been in the past seasons, due to a poor squid population.     (pic1)  (pic2)

Despite a good positive attitude, the fishing was a little slow this afternoon, but they all managed to catch a few nice fish.   (pic1)

Beautiful weather day, didn't seem to find the big fish they were looking for... but found a lot of action the whole trip.   (pic1)

Found fish real close to the harbor, they come out every year, and always seem to have a great day.   (pic1)

June 11, 2003 Ed Sartell

Ed and Scott Sartell, from Sartell Electric brought some friends for some great Spring Bass fishing.  Great weather and nonstop fishing all day.  The lobster salad sandwiches for Capt. Mike and mate Billy were great!  Thanks guys!! (pic1)  (pic2)  (pic3)

June 10,2003  Jim Toabe

Jim, Rosario, Dick and Dr. Bob where hoping for another day of top water action... But Capt. Mike should have brought a lawn mower, because the rips where full of weeds, and very few fish.  The guys did manage to catch a few Bass on poppers and fly rods, but it took the wire lines and jigs to catch the limit in Bass.

June 9, 2003 Steve Krysa

Steve and the rest of Marlborough firefighters came back again this year for another great day.  Jeff kept us all on the edge of our seats with his stories on how to grow giant pumpkins.  Unfortunately, he couldn't catch the big fish of the day.   (pic1)  (pic2)  (pic3)  (pic4)

June 8, 2003-Bob Converse, UPS

Bob, Jimmy and Chris came down wanting some serious bass fishing.  Chris bribed Captain Mike with a bottle of Jaggermeister, and proceeded to catch the biggest fish so far this season.  Not bad for his first time striper fishing.  (pic1)   (pic2)   (pic3)   (pic4)

June 7PM,2003-Rob O'Rourke

Went out fishing with Marty, Ron, and his lucky charm Chucky.  again this year, chucky kept us in stitches with his jokes and one liners.  Looks like he has bragging rights again this year for biggest fish caught.  Way to go Chucky, 'You're the man!!!     (pic1)   (pic2)

June 7AM, 2003- Kevin Brady

These guys where great to fish with, and had great stories about our first mate Billy , from High School.  They had a great day of fishing, and look forward to seeing them again next season.  (pic1)   (pic2)  (pic3)

June 6PM, 2003 -Bill Madden

Bill and the guys from GAF engineering came out for a great weather day, and a great day of fishing on the Eastwind.  They did everything from casting top water lures in the rips, to jigging in some big bass out of the rocks.  You may recognize Bill from o8ur Giant tuna fishing trips from last fall.    (pic1)  (pic2)  (pic3)

June 6 AM, 2003 -Guy Norwood

Started off the morning going to the Vineyard, we found nothing but big blue fish and a few scattered stripers mixed in.  Came back around to the North side, and ended up catching a few nice fish.  A two boat charter- and again ended up as top dogs at the dock(pic1)  (pic2)

June 5, 2003 -Louis Benoit

Had a fantastic day fishing again this year, caught a lot of fish, and where very tired at the end of the day... Great job!

June 4, 2003 -Rosario, Tripoli Bakery

Rosario had such a great day fishing on Monday.. He's back again with a couple of close friends 2 days later.  Caught some great fish on the fly rods, and the rest came on the light tackle top water plugs.   (pic1)

June 02,  2003 -Jim Toabe

Jim Toabe returns again this season...hoping to get the exciting top water action that he has enjoyed over the years fishing on the Eastwind.  He brought along his friend Rosario, (Tripoli Bakery) and his son Bobby and friend Tony.  They caught over 80 fish, on top water---non stop fishing in the rips.  Fish where feeding on squid that where jumping all around the boat.  It was not uncommon to see fish jumping out of the water.  Best fishing day we've seen all year!  (pic1)   (pic2)
