Ed Guide decided to take a group of his friends out fishing on this holiday weekend.  In spite of heavy boat traffic, they managed to limit out on Bass.  Constant, and big fish,  25-35 pounder's all  morning.    (Grppic)  (pic1)  (pic2)  (pic3)  (pic4)

August 27, 2003 John Ryan

Where tube and worming for a while, and things where good but  slow... Then switched over to jigging, and the bite was non stop!  Caught a couple of 30 pounder's, and  a lot of nice fish.  With the cool night air lately, it was like Spring fishing again.  Great fishing guys.  (pic1)  (pic2)  (Grppic)

August 23, Justin Traxler

Justin and his friends caught the limit on Bass right away, and then switched over to Bonito fishing.   (pic1)  (pic2)

August 23, 2003 John Develis

John  booked this charter back in April, and the day finally arrived.  John has brought out his family and friends on the Eastwind for many years.  They had a beautiful weather day.  The bite was short and sweet, and everyone had a great time.  (pic1)

August 22, David Clark

The seas where still a little rough this afternoon, but it didn't seem to bother David and his friends.  Fishing was really good, and they caught a lot of fish.   (pic1)

August 19, 2003 Peter Miller

When it comes to experienced fisherman, and knowing what your doing, Peter and his guests where just that.  Peter has been fishing every Monday during the summers since 1986.  He and his guests caught their limit, and some really big fish.  First time on the Eastwind.  Heard some great fishing stories also.    (pic1)    (pic2)

August 18, 2003 Bob Ritter & Family

These folks where a little skeptical about chartering a fishing boat again, after catching no fish on a different boat they picked last year.  Well... they picked the right boat this time, this year.  Caught Striped bass right off the bat, all morning, and then finished up the trip with some great Fluke fishing.    (pic1)    (pic2)

August 17, 2003 Paul Holp

Paul brought out his sons, Zach and Dana.  Managed to catch a ton of blue fish in spite of going out in heavy rain that  didn't let up.  Every one was  soaked to the bone.

August 17, 2003 David Corcoran

Dave and his guests had beautiful weather this morning.  Jigged up some fantastic Bass, and couldn't wait to go home and cook up the fish they caught, and to celebrate Dave's belated birthday.   (pic1)

August 16, 2003 Bernstein Family

Afternoon charter.  In spite of fairly rough seas, and losing  a lot of Bass, they managed to get catch 10 keepers.    (pic1)

August 15, 2003 Keith Driscoll

Beautiful weather!  One of the nicest days we've had all month.  Caught 4 nice fish in the early morning bite, and where in the right place at the right time.  Then caught a ton of blue fish breaking in the rips.  (pic1)

August 13, 2003 Andover Youth Group 2 boat charter

All the kids went home with tired arms from reeling in one blue fish after another.  A lot of laughter and smiles.  Great group of kids and nice counselors.

August 13, 2003 Tattan

Second time out this season for Gerry and his buddies. Caught their limit in no time at all, the rest where gravy.  (pic1)

August 12, 2003 Boston Fire Fighters/ Evans

Great group, and great attitudes.  They had to work hard, but caught a lot of nice  fish!  Great time for all.  Again, the weather report was wrong for this area, and we missed the stormy weather.    (pic1)  (pic2)

August 12, 2003 Louie Benoit

Second time out this season.  Traveling from Western Mass, In spite of hazy hot and humid weather, this family group enjoyed a great day of Bass fishing on the Eastwind.  Caught their limit in Bass.    Always a pleasure to fish with, see you in 2004.   (pic1)

August 9, 2003 Chris McDonough

This group from Waltham and Watertown, saw nothing but blue fish for the first hour.  But  stuck with it, and Capt. Mike found the Bass.  They then caught their  limit of Striped bass.     (pic1)     (pic2)

August 6, 2003 Peter Karb

Peter brought  guests out for an afternoon of fishing.  These young guys did a great job fishing on the Eastwind for the first time out.  In spite of a poor weather forecast, the weather reports where wrong, and they had a good day, and caught a lot of fish.  (pic1)

August 6, 2003 Jim Dewer

Jim and his friends where a little fuzzy from the late night before, but rallied up, and caught a lot of nice fish.

August 5, 2003 John Gagnon Family

Johns in-laws drove up from New Jersey for a visit, and a day of fishing.  Found some great fish, and some up to 35 pounds.  Also enjoyed some fresh black sea bass sushi right on the boat.  A first time event on the Eastwind.  Great time for all, even if the water was a little choppy.  With Capt. Mike's experience, he brought them to calmer waters, compared to places the other fishing charter boats went to that day.    (pic1)

August 2, 2003 John Summers

While we heard the other boats on the VHF radio complaining of slow fishing. These guys where on to fish, non stop.       (pic1)
